The short version

Dormant keeps no accounts and runs no servers that store your data. Your lineup, star ratings, and planner choices live only in your own browser. The only personal information that ever leaves your device is what you choose to send us: your email address if you join the waitlist, or your name, email address, and message if you use the contact form.

Your lineup stays in your browser

Everything you star, rank, and plan is saved in your browser's local storage (keys starting with showcal.). It never touches our servers because there are no servers for it to touch. Clearing the site's website data in your browser deletes it permanently. Moving to a new domain (for example from substandby.com to dormant.tv) starts with a fresh, empty lineup, since browsers tie stored data to the domain.

The "Move my data to another device" export never leaves your hands: it downloads a file you carry to the other device yourself.

Waitlist

If you join the waitlist, your email address is sent to Formspree, the form service that delivers it to us. Purpose: one email per Dormant feature launch, no spam, ever. Frequency: only when something actually ships. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can ask to be removed at any time via the contact page. Your address is never sold or rented. It is shared only with Formspree, the service that delivers it to us, and only for that purpose.

Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page visits. It is cookie-free, does not track you across sites, and does not collect personal information. Waitlist signup completions are measured by the page view of the thank-you page, not by tracking events.
