The short version

Dormant is a free TV calendar and subscription planner. There are no accounts, no payments, and no servers storing your lineup — it lives in your own browser. By using the site you agree to these terms.

What Dormant is

Dormant helps you track the shows you watch, see when they air, and decide which streaming months are worth paying for. The planner's savings figures are estimates built from public pricing and schedule data, not financial advice.

Data accuracy

Air dates come from TVMaze and availability data from the Streaming Availability API by Movie of the Night. We work to keep them accurate, but schedules and prices change — always confirm with the streaming service before you pay for anything. Dormant isn't responsible for decisions made on stale data.

Acceptable use

Don't abuse the site: no scraping at a rate that degrades it for others, no attempting to break the share-ingest service, and no using Dormant's content or bear artwork to mislead people into thinking you're us.

Intellectual property

Dormant™ is a trademark of Noah Andrew Peterson (U.S. trademark application Serial No. 50130838), as are the bear artwork and site design. You may share links to Dormant freely; you may not copy the brand assets or present modified versions as official.

Third-party services

Parts of Dormant rely on third parties: TVMaze for air dates, Movie of the Night for movie availability, Formspree for the contact and waitlist forms, and Cloudflare for hosting and analytics. Their own terms apply to those services.

No warranties, limited liability

Dormant is provided as-is, without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for anything that goes wrong from using the site — missed episodes, wrong prices, or otherwise.

Changes

These terms may change as Dormant grows; the "last updated" date above always shows the current version. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
